An installed unit can recover capacity, product quality and thermal efficiency without replacing the entire plant. We work on equipment of our own manufacture and from third parties, local or imported.
Many plants in the region work with dryers and evaporators that are twenty, thirty or more years old, bought from manufacturers that no longer provide service in the country or that charge for assistance in foreign currency. The equipment is still mechanically sound, but it produces less than it could, consumes too much or delivers an off-specification product.
In those cases it is almost never necessary to replace the entire installation. A survey at the plant and the mass and energy balance of the real process identify what limits capacity, where energy is lost and what is worth intervening on.
From that diagnosis we define the scope: it can be a mechanical uprating, a change of control system, heat recovery or a combination of the three, with the investment staged in phases.
Industrial installations in operation.
If you recognise any of these situations in your plant, a diagnosis tells you how much can be recovered and with what investment.
Production has fallen below what the plant needs, or the equipment does not reach the original design values.
The energy cost per kilogram of product has risen and the equipment runs without heat recovery.
Irregular final moisture, uneven particle size, caking or rehydration problems.
The original manufacturer does not serve the region, has discontinued the model or quotes spare parts in foreign currency with long lead times.
Each modernisation is tailored to the equipment and the plant. These are the most frequent lines of work.
We survey the equipment in operation, take the real process conditions and carry out the mass and energy balance. The result is a report with the limitations found, the possible improvements and the best order in which to carry them out.
Technological modernisation of existing calandrias and chambers, with structural and thermomechanical calculation for the new operating conditions. It includes internals, atomisation systems, air distribution, insulation and wear parts.
Transition to PLC systems with advanced predictive control, which stabilise operation, reduce final product variability and allow the process to be recorded for traceability and continuous improvement.
Closed-loop audits aimed at reducing live steam consumption, and economisers that make use of the process's own waste gases. In evaporation, assessment of thermocompression and additional effects.
We manufacture the parts in Argentina, to export standards, with the advantage of not depending on imports or on the lead times of a manufacturer that does not serve the region.
We test your product at our pilot plant and measure how it behaves before the final mechanical design. Less risk for your investment.
Our own metalworking capacity in Argentina, built to export standards. Spare parts and service without importing anything.
Equipment commissioned in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Mexico, Colombia, El Salvador, Paraguay and Bolivia.
Technical backing from SEI Contreras, with engineers who speak your language and look after your plant.
In many cases, yes: by reviewing the air system, atomisation, fines recovery and control, or by adding a prior concentration stage. First we survey the equipment and measure how it works.
Yes. We work on existing dryers and evaporators regardless of who manufactured them.
With more effects or TVR in the evaporator, by concentrating more before the dryer, by recovering heat from the exhaust air and by improving control. We calculate the savings with your tariffs before proposing the investment.
With the equipment and product data we will reply in less than 24 business hours, with a first technical assessment and the steps we propose for the diagnosis.
